The Best Melty Mashups to Try First
Melty’s library grows with every player who publishes a mashup, but a handful of fusions define what the format can do. These are the community mashups most worth your time, what each one actually merges, and who it suits.
Every mashup below requires you to own both source games on PC, and Melty installs the combination with one click. Names in the community library get a “+” suffix for their enhanced or maintained versions.
SkyCraft+ (Skyrim × Minecraft)
The flagship example of what a Melty mashup can be: you play Skyrim as a Minecraft player. Expect mining, crafting, and block building grafted onto Skyrim’s open world — the clearest demonstration of the “one game’s mechanics inside another game’s world” formula.
Elden Craft+ (Elden Ring × Minecraft)
Elden Ring’s punishing open world with Minecraft-style building and crafting layered on top. A good pick if you want survival-crafting systems to soften (or complicate) the Lands Between.
Super Mario Ring+ (Mario × Elden Ring)
A platformer-flavored twist on Elden Ring — the kind of pairing that shows mashups do not have to stay within one genre. Movement and feel change more than the map.
Skate Warfare+ (Skate × Call of Duty)
Tricks and mission structure borrowed across franchises. If you have ever wanted to treat a shooter map like a skate park, this is the proof of concept.
Portal Life+ (Portal × Half-Life)
Portal’s test-chamber puzzle logic dropped into a Half-Life frame. A natural fit because both games share DNA, which keeps controls coherent while the puzzle grammar changes.
Spartan Warfare+ (Halo × Call of Duty)
Two shooters fused: Halo’s sandbox and movement meeting Call of Duty’s gunplay rhythms. Popular with players who want a reason to revisit both campaigns.
How to read the names
Community mashups follow a loose convention: the fused pair’s name gets a “+” for enhanced or maintained versions — SkyCraft+ is the maintained line of the original SkyCraft experiment. When two listings share a name, prefer the one with more plays and a recent update; mashups age when a source game patches.
How to pick your first mashup
- Start from a game you know deeply. A mashup lands hardest when you notice exactly what changed — play a fusion of a world you already have hours in.
- Mechanic-first pairs age best. Fusions like SkyCraft+ survive patches better than ones that depend on precise animations or physics from both sides.
- Check the invite link. Many mashups support multiplayer through a shareable link — useful for testing a friend’s setup before publishing your own.
What every mashup has in common
- Both games must be installed and legitimate. Melty checks your library; a mashup whose second game is missing will point you to the store instead of launching.
- One-click install, reversible uninstall. Whichever fusion you pick, pressing Play downloads and configures it, and removing it restores your original files.
- Invite links for multiplayer. Supported mashups can be played with friends from a single link — private by default, public if you choose.

The library only looks fixed. Anyone with two owned games and an AI coding agent can create a mashup in an afternoon — our step-by-step mashup creation guide walks the whole process, and the Melty overview covers the basics if you are new.
